Uncovering The Positive And Negative
The objective of every home inspection is to provide prospective buyers with useful

- the condition of each major component in the house
- items needing repair or replacement
- safety or health concerns
- areas that need routine maintenance
- components that are suspect
- any necessary major expenditures
- the positive aspects of the home
The inspection report is delivered electronically, and includes photos, maintenance
tips and additional documents of interest. As an option, reports can be provide on
CD and viewed with any web browser or word document viewer. A printed copy of the report
is also available upon request.
We will ensure that every client is comfortable with all the information provided. Free consultation

Start By Making An Informed Decision
Every inspection performed by Seacliff Inspections is an examination of over 1500 possible
problem areas in a typical home. It is important to remember that no home is perfect. That
being said, not every small problem with a home will be identified. Cosmetic
issues are generally subjective and are not reported on. Though some minor defects will be
identified, the inspection is intended to document areas of major concern or expense. Every
roof will eventually need to be replaced. Every furnace or air conditioner will eventually
need repair or replacement. Every basement will leak given the right conditions. At Seacliff
Inspections, we strive to identify those items which are defective, or near the end of their useful
life, so you can budget accordingly.
A Seacliff Inspections' report includes a visual examination of:
- roofs, vents, flashings and trim
- eaves, soffit and fascia
- gutters and downspouts
- chimneys, stacks and other roof penetrations
- skylights and solariums
- decks, porches, and balconies
- interior and exterior railings
- walkways and driveways
- lot grading and drainage
- basements, crawlspaces and foundation
- walls, doors and windows
- heating systems
- cooling systems
- main water shut off valves
- water heating system
- interior plumbing fixtures and faucets
- drainage sump pumps
- electrical service entrance
- electrical panels, breakers and fuses
- main disconnect and service amperage
- grounding and bonding
- electrical switches and receptacles, including GFCI's
- fireplaces, damper door and hearth
- insulation and ventilation
- garage doors, safety sensors and openers
- and much, much more...
A Seacliff Inspections' report does not pass or fail a home. It is impossible for
us to understand all your reasons for wanting to purchase a particular home. In the end,
it is a subjective and personal decision. It is our intention to provide you with
the information you need to make that decision an informed one.
